auto-jamming
I've been experimenting with multitrack recording today. Nothing complicated, just playing what came up in my head, using also a few instruments I'm not that terribly skilled in: steel string guitar, mandola, cello, home made bass flute, door keys, etc... Each track was recorded in one take (except when it was really bad ;-)I hardly edited, I just erased two or three seconds somewhere and I added some electronic effects afterwards.
The result is far from perfect, but I enjoyed myself and that's what making music is all about to me. I would like to encourage you to do the same. Just take that old banjo from upstairs, blow the dust away and start exploring it's sounds...
