Recording covers is one of my hobbies, either staying close to the original,
to mutilate it almost beyond recognition, or to mash it up with other tunes.
Some of these recordings are made with the help of those that are mentioned.

Mavis Noordwijk is a singer music teacher from Paramaribo. We met when we where both studying at the music academy in Zwolle. After getting her degree she went back to her home country, but once in a while she returns and during summer 2007 we sang this Surinam traditional in my radioshow.
